MGEN JOHN NATTERSTAD, takes Command of the 10th Regional Command.

January 28, 2021

We wish MG Natterstad well and the LAC will be in complete support to him in this new Command. Congratulations on assuming command of the 10th Regional Command. General Natterstad, finer Officers than you are extremely few and long distances apart.
The entire USV-JSC is truly blessed by Our God Almighty that you have taken Command of the 10th Regional Command most especially at this terrible moment for Maj Gen Ben.  He has established a legacy and rendered a style of leadership few of us could ever emulate and only a very select few can step into his Command and without loss of the momentum Maj Gen Ben built be able to pick it up and move even further.  You are that Officer and I know General Ben would genuinely agree.
On behalf of the entire USV-JSC, Major General Natterstad, THANK YOU.

The injury to MajGen Ben Tran was a sad moment for all of us.  He is in our prayers and we hope he will be able to resume his duties as the 10th RC Commander at some time in the future.  For now, it is up to each of us to work together to complete the missions of the 10th RC.  I am impressed by how the members of the 101st BCT and the 10th RC staff have stepped up to the challenge to coordinate the funeral honors at Tahoma National Cemetery.  The 103rd BCT has provided support to the Tahoma mission and the missions at the Frog Farm.  The 102 BCT has conducted some great training and is preparing to support funeral honors and other missions.  All of us are grateful for the dedication of Major Theresa Pham and how she has kept us informed on the situation with MajGen Ben Tran. It is an honor for me to work with the great volunteers of the 10th RC.
