General Coffee,

I wanted to let you know how beautiful and truly inspiring the military  presence was at my husband’s funeral. The ceremony at both the Church and the Cemetery that was performed made his Celebration incredibly special.  The memory will be with me forever. The men I spoke with were so very kind and gracious. Please pass on my gratefulness, appreciation and respect to all. You all have my admiration. You are performing a marvelous service for our great country by honoring those who have served.

Forever Grateful,
Colleen Hallett

Honoring General Tran in Service to Veterans
at Tahoma National Cemetery • February 2, 2021

MG Natterstad, Commanding General, 10th Regional Command:

These pictures are a stunning and deep seated show of love for Maj Gen Ben Tran.  He and his Trainers have provided a legacy to continue performing Military Honors Ceremonies at Tahoma National Cemetery.  Carrying on General Ben’s legacy impacts many Veterans’ families, friends and the entire Veteran Community.

MAJ PHAM:  Your determination that the scheduled day to conduct Military Funeral Honors having first to ensure all US Volunteers were reminded of the day, then obtain the Rifles to conduct the ceremonies and check all uniforms, etc., must have been heart-breaking for you and all the US Volunteers realizing General Ben’s terrible medical condition knowing he is in a comma.  We all pray for General Ben and for you MAJ Pham and the US Volunteers of the 101st and the 103d BCTs. Thank you so very much.
