Washington State Patriotic Day, 4 Mar 2023

Our Volunteers were very impressive at the Washington State Patriotic Day event in Dupont, WA.

The USV-JSC was represented by:

        LTG Natterstad from the USV-JSC National Headquarters
        MG Coffey from the USV-JSC Legislative Affairs Command (LAC)
        BG Gunn from the 102nd BCT and 3 members of his bagpiper and drum corps
        COL Rashid from the 103rd BCT
        CPT Middleton from the LAC
        CPO Jones from the LAC
        SFC Middleton form the LAC
        SSG Cruz from the 103rd BCT
        SGT Jibril from the 103rd BCT

The USV-JSC won at prize for the large number of flag presenters in the adult category.The USV-JSC Logo was on the Program as one of the sponsors. This was a very impressive event with over 200 people in attendance. The speaker was an active duty Brigadier General from Fort Lewis. There were a number of retired generals and colonels in attendance. They also had a UH1 (Huey) helicopter on a display provided by the Vietnam Helicopter pilots association,  Some military vehicles were also on display. The 1st Corps active duty band played the music for this event.  They were outstanding. This event was an opportunity for those in the audience to become aware of the USV-JSC. Thanks you to everyone who participated.
